Slammed again but open for business!

The good news is that the wind, gusting over 50 mph last night and shaking my house, has been steadily out of the west.  The weather channel posted a "low water warning" in the marine forecast last night, with the wind pushing water out the inlet and causing blowout low tides.  The bad news is that it snowed much of the night and much of the day, although the sun peeked out at about 3 pm.  The roads are plowed and clear, but the mainland roads are slushy and caution is suggested.  Saturday should see much of the snow disappear with temperatures forecast in the mid 40s.  The phones have been ringing with rental customers planning weekend trips to snatch up a summer rental, and sale customers are planning to keep their appointments.  A shovel is suggested but not required.
